I've decided to have a go at a few open competitions in 2023 (sadly away from Cheltenham, due to lack of opportunities). I have just applied to the Graphic Society of Fine Arts (Mall Galleries) and hopefully will also enter The Pastel Society (at the same venue) and The Royal West of England Academy in Bristol later on in the year. I've also entered the Figurative Curated Show at Sixteen Gallery in Cheltenham. I'm trying to get some sort of exposure for my art and these are my goals for 2023. I'm really hoping that I will be successful with at least one of them as I am unsure as to the way forward and am running out of ideas, should I not be. But I will cross that bridge when I come to it. It can be challenging to find a way forward without a mentor or guidance but hopefully my tenacity and determination will help. I will try and stay positive!
